Franz Hill Vineyard

Franz Hill Vineyard, located on Franz Valley School Road, was first planted in the 1870s and overlooks the Palisades above Calistoga. It’s a small vineyard with a wild and rustic charm, incredibly small berries produced lead to wines of immense concentration and intensity. We’ve been working with the fruit since 2019 but the 2021 vintage was the first time we produced a single vineyard cabernet from the property.
Tasting Notes: Black licorice, sage, dark color, chalky, floral notes, violets, earthiness, mineral, energy, muscular, espresso, savory, medium-bodied.

Sleeping Lady Vineyard

Nestled in the foothills of the Mayacamas Mountain range in the Yountville AVA, the Sleeping Lady Vineyard provides exceptional drainage producing higher concentrated grapes and a juicy blue-fruit and smooth floral finesse.
Tasting Notes: black cherry, black berry, red currants, big mid-palate, baking spices from oak, touch of clove, flawless, soft finish, structure on front and middle, fragrant floral notes

Located north of the town of Yountville in the Oakville AVA, Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper was originally part of a large piece of land owned by George C. Yount, from whom the town of Yountville takes its name. Purchased by Charles Hopper and given to his daughter Missouri in 1877, the land was planted to wine grapes, prunes and walnuts. Purchased by Beckstoffer Vineyards in 1996, the vineyard is today planted with multiple clones of Cabernet Sauvignon.
Tasting Notes: Toasted coffee, floral nature, red/blue fruit, energy, leather, earthy/mushroom, truffle, robust fruit with delicate earthy tones
